Funerals
|
Ever since man partook of the fruit that he was forbidden to eat of, death became a part of the human experience. We at Shalem recognise the need at such a time for the Church to reach out to those who mourn, providing comfort and reassurance that God is working his purpose out. Funerals are conducted on any day of the week, except Sunday, the times being set according to the availability of the Church, and the schedule of the Funeral Director. Members of he Church are of course afforded funeral services free of cost, but non-members may be asked to contribute toward the funeral services as per the Form below: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1cbclzOvaPkr_uGb62A50i2PNW3BY7zXVQolIWZOrWYU/edit?ts=62a93830 Any person wishing the services of the Church, can contact the Pastor, who will guide them as to the requirements, and work with them to ensure a smooth and dignified ceremony. At Shalem we believe in rejoicing with those who rejoice, and weeping with those who weep as the scriptures teach us. Rom 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. |
