Singing has always been one of the focal points of the Church, and Shalem has always been proud of its choirs over the years.
The present choir has been together since 1973, and has in that time built up a large repertoire of music, ranging from the classics to Negro Spirituals and Gospel..

At present the choir is twenty-one members strong, made up of ten males, and eleven females. It rehearses regularly, and performs. not only at programmes, but also during the regular services of the Church.
