The youth department is complimentary to the Sunday School. It is here that youths are trained, helping them to understand the reason for the things we preach and why we follow them. We are here to help them in whatever problems that they may encounter with the use of the word of God. The department helps to fashion the lives of the youth and to help them to become the lights in their communities. It is this department's goal to find ways and means in which to carry out our purpose. To make our services the training ground for whom ever may attend. We want to be an encouragement to the youth, to help them to use their skills and abilities in a positive manner. The department's goal is to increase the activeness of the youth both within and without the church, and to provide this community with positive examples to follow. We want to make a positive impact on the lives of our youth and to make a noticeable difference. We also aim to provide the knowledge necessary for the betterment of the youth and to show them the way to 'Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify our father which is in heaven'. Matthew Ch 5 v l6. Your child can therefore benefit in a very positive way by attending and participating in this department's activities, and be taught to be an honest, dependable, and disciplined citizen.
