Heb 13:4: Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.


Shalem acknowledges marriage as a vital part of God's plan for the human family. We therefore will encourage persons to consult God about a partner for life and to join that person in matrimony so that as the Bible teaches, the two can become one.

Marriages are performed on request between any two persons of opposite sex who truly love each other and want to make a permanent commitment. These persons do not have to be members of the congregation at Shalem.

Requests should be done as early as possible so that the date can be reserved and dates set up for counselling and instructions on the requirements both spiritual and legal for that special event.

Members of the Church are married free of cost, but non members will be asked to pay a reasonable fee, depending on the services required. This fee is unlikely to exceed $500.00 BDS (250.00 U.S)
